Pocono Mountain Regional police reported the arrest of a Pocono Lake resident for public drunkenness.
Police said they were dispatched to the area of Lakeshore Drive and Pony Path of the Arrowhead Lakes development of a report of a vehicle found in a ditch and an intoxicated male nearby.
Upon arrival officers found Jeffrey P. Herman, 35, who was highly intoxicated. The vehicle in the ditch was found to be stolen from a nearby residence.
Herman was placed under arrest and became uncooperative, disorderly, and argumentative.
Herman continued his conduct while police took him into custody. He kicked at the police car's partition and rear window. Herman was later committed to the county prison in Snydersville.
