In recognition of the celebration of 100 years of Pennsylvania 4-H, Penn State Extension in Carbon County will host a 4-H Reunion on Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Mahoning Valley Ambulance Building in Lehighton.
The event will be an open house from 1-4 p.m. There will be a short program starting at 1 p.m. to welcome everyone. A meet and greet will follow the program.
The 4-H Centennial Committee will recognize the oldest male and female person still living, who was a 4-H member in Carbon County.
The public is welcome to attend and browse the tables of memorabilia, enjoy a slide show presentation and partake in the other fun activities that the committee has planned.
Light refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon.
R.S.V.P. is not necessary, but is appreciated by Friday, Sept. 21.
