An Effort woman was charged after triggering a three-car crash on Route 115 at Mountain Road in Saylorsburg on Sept. 2.

Samantha Rios failed to stop within a safe distance at 4 p.m., striking a car driven by Catherine-Jean Boehm of Saylorsburg. Boehm's car was pushed into one driven by Philip J. Kelly, also of Saylorsburg, according to state police at Lehighton.The damages were minor, and there no injuries, police said.
