Four teenagers suffered minor injuries in a crash on Lovitt Road in Towamensing Township on Sept. 1.

According to state police at Lehighton, the crash occurred at 11:55 a.m. when a 17-year-old boy lost control of the Pontiac Sunfire he was driving around a sharp curve. The car spun 180 degrees across both lanes and struck a tree.The car was also carrying four other boys: Two 14-year-olds, a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old who was not injured.Only the driver was wearing a seat belt, according to police. The driver was charged, but the charges were not released.
