Nesquehoning crashes

Nesquehoning police reported on two crashes investigated by officers.

On Oct. 24 a two vehicle crash occurred about 10:40 a.m. along SR209 at the entrance to Redner's Warehouse Market. Police said Deborah Valderrama, 46 E. Ruddle St., Coaldale, was southbound while Frances F. Albino, 245 W. Howard Ave., Coaldale, was northbound. Albino was turning into Redners and struck Valderrama's vehicle. Valderrama's vehicle sustained moderate damage and had to be towed from the scene, police said.The second crash occurred on Oct. 20 about 11:37 p.m. along SR93. A juvenile driver hit aPennDOT sign and left the scene. He will be cited, police said.
