I'm responding to Mr. Scotty Morrison's article printed on the editorial page of your newspaper - "Time To Wake Up to Liberalism" on Oct. 13, 2012. Mr. Morrison's extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Hearsay simply doesn't cut it.Mr. Morrison, you describe yourself as a concern, Christian conservative. You make reference to the Bible (in support of your article) and appear to be knowledgeable of its teachings.Your article states that President Obama is not a native-born citizen of the United States. You also claim that President Obama is a Communist and not a Christian. Please prove your allegation by presenting the FACTS in a future article in this newspaper.A Biblical Teaching: "PROVE ALL THINGS; HOLD FAST THAT WHICH IS GOOD."(Thessalonius 5-21)Anything that is permitted can increase; good, bad, truth or misinformation. The "47 percent" statement made by Mr. Romney is not the telling statement. The telling statement is that not one person in his audience stood up and said to Mr. Romney that he was referring to millions of veterans, millions of people on Social Security, millions of single-parent households, millions of active military personnel. At least one person should have supported someone in the "47 percent" group.You go on to say that Liberals are led by Lucifer. You further imply that Liberals are paving a path to the ruination of the USA.Two of the Bible's teachings on Liberality state:"The liberal soul shall be made of fat; and he that waterth shall be watered himself."(Proverbs 11:25.)"It is more blessed to give than to receive, "Acts 20:35).I'm curious as to where you got your information when you stated, "Liberals follow the devil." Has the devil showed you his list of followers?President Omaba is not a Communist. I believe President Obama is a Christian. I believe President Obama is a legal citizen. Mr. Morrison, I don't believe that you were sincere when you wrote your article. I believe you're a better person than the words in your article proports you to be. I would guess that you were not referring to your liberal neighbors, friends and family when you reference Liberals as satanic-loving rats."Before Honor is Humility." (Proverbs 15:33)The Bible does not differentiate between Liberals and Conservatives in any of the following: "As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good to all men." (Galatians 6:10)."Walk in love." (Ephesians 5:3)My last reference to the Bible and more imperative to your article: "The lip of truth shall be established forever, but a lying tongue but for a moment."
