A Lehighton teenager was seriously injured Friday afternoon after he fell over 100 feet at Glen Onoko Falls just north of Jim Thorpe.
Joshua Eremus, 18, was hiking with a friend when he fell.
After the initial call was received about an incident at the second falls, fire fighters from Jim Thorpe, Nesquehoning and Lehighton responded to the call.
The rescue operation took about three hours to complete.
Lehighton paramedics treated Ereums at the scene before he was lifeflighted to Lehigh Valley Hospital Trauma Center in Allentown.

That was really terrible and thank God he survived. The first time I heard this news when I was in a point of sale display. I have heard it from the two customers who were talking about the incident.
