East End Fire Company holds open house

ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Members of the East End Fire Company in Tamaqua held their annual open house Wednesday evening at their station. Volunteer firefighters spent time talking to visitors about their equipment and firefighting apparatus. "Dedicated volunters are essential to any fire company," said Michael Angelo, East End Fire Company Chief. Volunteers posing for a photo with some of their equipment are from front left junior firefighter Thomas Jimenez, 16, Lansford and firefighters Dwayne Green, 28, Summit Hill; and David Highland, 18, Jim Thorpe. Back left are junior firefighter Colton Black, 16, Lansford, and firefighter Keith Kunkel, 19, Nesquehoning.
