Three persons are facing charges of manufacturing methamphetamines as a result of the execution of a search warrant on Oct. 8 at 9:30 p.m. at a residence in Effort.

Charged are Thomas E. Kram, 31, of Albrightsville, and Shawn D. Berger, 31, and Kimberly A. Maro, 29, both of Effort. Following arraignment, Kram is being held in the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville, while Berger and Maro were later released.State police at the Lehighton barracks said they executed the warrant at 302 Donalds Road based on information they received that Kram was manufacturing the drugs at that location. Police said they discovered evidence of that to be true and took Kram into custody.Police were assisted by troopers from the Fern Ridge barracks and the state police crime unit and clandestine team.
