Lillian Sally Popek of Jim Thorpe celebrated her 90th birthday last month.

She was born on Feb. 8, 1925.Lillian was the guest of honor at a birthday party given by her children at Dom 'n Ali's Steak and Seafood Restaurant.Lillian is the wife of Theodore S. Popek Sr.Together they have five children: two daughters and three sons.On her special day Lillian was surrounded by her family, daughters Mary Katherine McHugh and Cyrillia Gavornik, and sons Ted Jr., Tim and Terry Popek and spouses.Also attending were her eight grandchildren with their spouses, and 15 great-grandchildren and close friends.Lillian's happiest times are the holidays, where she still has the entire family of 40 home for dinner. She says it's what keeps her going.
