The Nesquers' D forces a fumble and John Ferko recovers the ball in the end zone to open the scoring. Walt Ligenza later blocks a punt, picks up the ball and runs it 15 yards into the end zone for another tally. The winners, coached by Tony Mezza, also receive offensive scores from Joe Krajcir (21-yard run), Bob Macenka (one-yard run) and Steve Kusko (23-yard run).
