Twenty-four area residents were among 99 defendants who were arraigned Monday in the Schuylkill County Courthouse before District Attorney Karen Byrnes Noon on criminal charges and all entered pleas of not guilty and requested trial by jury. They were:

Anthony R. Ades, 55, of 20 Cedar St., Tamaqua, charged by West Penn Township Chief Brian J. Johnson, with aggravated assault of police officer, aggravated assault with deadly weapon, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering Debra L. Althouse at 600 West Penn Pike, institutional vandalism, and exceeding the maximum speed limit last July 11.

Tyler Joseph Kline, 20, of 410 Washington St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Karl Harig, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia last June 5 at his home after police called to investigate a fight between the defendant and and his father.

Michael Allen Haring, of 266 Hillside Drive, Barnesville, charged by Mahanoy Township Police Officer Brandon Alexander, with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and underage drinking when stopped in Boston Run last June 26.

Andrea L. Canzoneri, 30, of 6 W. Marconi Avenue, Nesquehoning, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Michael Hobbs, with forging a physician's prescription to obtain additional drugs.

Jennifer Miller, 31, of 205 Chestnut St., Tuscarora, Schuylkill Township, charged by Rush Township Patrolman Adam Sinton, with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while her license was suspended, and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic when stopped last March 26 on Tuscarora Park Road.

Duane Roy Allen, 24, of118 N. Railroad St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Mathew Houser, with theft of a briefcase belonging to a sale associate of Boyer's Super Market last May 12.

Keith Daniel Neff, 29, of 119 Pine St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Michael Hobbs, with resisting arrest when confronted at 307 Arlington St. last June 27 and was charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Michael J. Hobbs, last June 9 with burglary of his grandmother's apartment at the High Rise Building and theft of $4,260 worth of jewelry.

Alysa Christine Frey, 22, of 15 S. Tamaqua Drive, Tamaqua R.D., charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Joseph F. Krebs, with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol, possessing an open container of alcohol beverage in vehicle, careless driving, and involved in accident of unattended vehicle on Spruce Street last June 16.

Robert Maurice Valentine, 44, of 41 Rocky Lane, New Ringgold, charged by West Penn police with defiant trespass on property of West Penn Rod and Gun Club, last April 13. The police report states he was found sleeping in a recreational vehicle parked on the grounds.

Anthony Edward Pascoe, 26, of 230 Green St., Apt. 2, and 112 N. Greenwood St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Matthew N. Houser, with resisting arrest, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct on North Greenwood Street last June 18.

Gary Leland Scott Jr., 26, of 605 E. Broad St., Apt. 1, Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Cpl. Henry D. Woods, with burglary of Kane Lumber Company at 500 W. Cottage Avenue by breaking into storage building, criminal trespass, theft of chain saw valued at $350, and criminal mischief by smashing window on the door last June 17.

Harold Joseph Tonkin, 42, of 225 W. Ruddle St., Coaldale, charged by Coaldale Patrolman Scott C. Cramer, last May 5 with DUI, careless driving, and failing to drive on right side of road.

Dorothy Lois Molion, 41, of 27 Center St,, Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Cpl. Dwayne Hacker, with retail theft at Turkey Hill MIni Mart last May 27 of a small pack of cookies valued at 99 cents.

Robert Rex, 18, of 220 1/2 Penn St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Cpl. Henry Woods, with theft of his mother's vehicle last June 13, fleeing police, unauthorized use of vehicle, simple assault, recklessly endangering pedestrians, reckless driving, failing to drive at a safe speed, driver required to have license, stop sign violations, and driving the wrongway on a one way road. The police report states he was found sleeping in his mother's car and when confronted took off and police gave chase through the borough but discontinued pursuing on Anthracite Avenue, in fear of safety of others.

Richard Edward Michlousky, 50, of 261 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Karl Harig, with three counts of terrorist threats and two counts of disorderly conduct last May 18 by tossing a rock through the front window window of a private home.

Eric J. Hatmaker, 28, of 142 Sixth St., Coaldale, charged by Det. Joseph Lipsett, District Attorney's Office, with simple assault and harassment of Joseph Terrmy near the Coaldale VFW Home on Sept. 25, 2011.

Theodore C. Black, 45, of 100 Dorset Road, New Ringgold, charged by West Penn Patrolman Corey L. Frey, with simple assault and harassment of Lauren Steinbrum last June 23.

Ricky R. Burns, 19, of 40 E. Ridge St., Coaldale, charged by Coaldale Chief Timothy Delaney, with criminal conspiracy, possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia last March 12.

Joseph John Carroll, 42, of 320 Pine St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Duarte, with DUI when stopped on Mauch Chunk Street last April 21 and having improper tire equipment.

Michael Charles Hill Jr., 21, of 47 Mush Dahl Road, New Ringgold, charged by Coaldale Patrolman Scott Cramer, with being involved in an accident near Pappy's Mini Mart on Water Street last May 19, DUI of alcohol and drugs, reckless driving, failing to drive on roadside laned for traffic, driving upon a sidewalk, careless driving, failing to report an accident to police, and abandoning a vehicle.

John Vincent Chaney, 21, of 130 Sixth St., Coaldale, charged by Coaldale Chief Timothy E. Delaney, with DUI last March 28 on SR209, recklessly endangering another person, reckless driving, and failing to drive on right side of road.

Andrew Owen Bensinger, 25, of 125 Penn St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Dane S. O'Brien, with possession of a controlled substance (CS) when stopped at Center and Cedar streets last March 29, operating a vehicle without an official inspection certificate, and failed to comply with noise level of vehicle.

Pamela Diane Keyes, 43, of 65 Dorset Road, Apt. 8, New Ringgold, charged by Pottsville Patrolman James P. Englert, with failing to furnish drug free test to probation officer.

Andrew Dotter, 36, of 218 Orwigsburg St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, with burglary of property at 225 Orwigsburg St., and simple assault and harassment of Tina Hossler last Nov. 23.

Raymond Gibson Anderson, 34, Mahanoy City, charged by Trooper Joseph Aponick with DUI on SR54 in Mahanoy Township last April 8, involved in a two car crash while reaching for a cell phone, driving while his operating privileges were suspended, careless driving, and failing to wear seat belt.

Angelica Wetzel, 23, Frackville, charged by Rush Patrolman Adam Sinton, with DUI of drugs on Claremont Avenue last April 8, possession of drug paraphernalia, and improper rear lighting on his vehicle.

Tyler Shortway, 21, Weatherly, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Charles Rodgers, last April 30 and May 3 with three counts each of delivery of a CS, possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of cell phone, and possession.

Jonathan Paul Williams, 28, North Wales, charged by Coaldale Chief Timothy Delaney, last Oct. 7 with forgery by portraying himself as owner of a contracting company and obtaining down payments from homeowners to perform repairs, theft, and securing and executing documents by deception.

Gerard Philip Graham, 21, Hazleton, charged by McAdoo Patrolman William Curilla, last July 12 with receiving stolen property, a handgun, had no license to carry a firearm, possession with intent to deliver a CS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct. The police report states Graham was stopped on South Kennedy Drive when it was noted he was texting while driving.

Joseph C. Yeich, 27, Mahanoy City, charged by Mahanoy City Cpl. Michael Dissinger, with possession of drug paraphernalia last March 17 in East End Park.

Dustin Robert Peel, 37, Mahanoy City, charged by Cpl. Dissinger with forgery, identity theft, attempting to obtain possession of a CS, and tampering with public records. The police report states he claimed he was a veterans of the Iraq war to gain medication from Family Medical Center.

James Francis Killian, 25, Mahanoy City, charged by Mahanoy City Officer Robert Romanick, with two counts of hindering the apprehension of person being sought on a bench warrant (Ryan F. Gallo), and obstructing administration by law officials. The police report states the wanted person was found hiding in a dresser in the bedroom.

Richard M. Bonney, 33, Hazle Township, Luzerne County, charged by Rush Patrolman Bradley Hess, with retail theft from Walmart Store, Hometown, last July 29, fleeing police, driving while license suspended, failing to drive at a safe speed, and improper display of registration plate.

Juan Ricardo Cooke II, 32, Harrisburg, charged by Trooper John Sleboda with robbery of Miners Bank in Tremont last April 23, criminal conspiracy, terroristic threat of tellers, and theft of a large sum of money. The police report states they getaway car was located traveling on Interstate 81 and police gave chase and the struck a concrete culvert and rolled over several times.

Michael Charles Kelchner, 27, Fern Glen, charged by Trooper Matthew Barrett with DUI on SR924 near Sheppton in East Union Township last March 2, aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI, failed to carry car insurance, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic, failing to drive at safe speed, careless driving, and didn't wear seat belt. He was involved in a two car head-on crash a mile north of Sheppton.
