The engagement of Nicole Matsago to Jason Trubilla, both of Shoemakersville, has been announced by her parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dave and Ruth Morgan of Zions Grove. She is a 2001 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, and a 2005 graduate of Shippensburg University, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in English with secondary certification.In 2006 she graduated from Ashford University with a master of arts degree in teaching and learning with technology.She is currently working on a master of education degree in curriculum and instruction from Southern New Hampshire University.She is employed as an English teacher at Hamburg Area High School in Hamburg.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Charles and Debra Trubilla of Deer Lake. He is a 1997 graduate of Blue Mountain High School and a 2001 graduate of Berks Technical Institute, where he earned an associate degree in graphic design.He is employed by National Penn Bank and a graphic designer.The couple is planning a wedding for June 21, 2014.
