Tamaqua police arrested three men following a vehicle stop in the borough on Sunday.

Patrolman Matt Houser was on patrol when he stopped a vehicle in the area of Boyer's Market on Cedar Street at 10:05 p.m. The three men inside were identified as Derek Krapf, 24, of MaryD; Eric Scott Ebling, 25, of Reading; and Kevin Warmkessle, 23, of Nesquehoning. Also in the vehicle were seven bundles, each containing 10 packages, of a substance that field tested positive for heroin.

All three were charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Krapf was also cited for driving with a suspended license.

The trio was arraigned before duty District Judge Christina Hale, of Frackville, who set bail at $25,000 unsecured for each defendant.

The drugs had an estimated street value of approximately $800.
