The Black Diamond Writers' Network is looking for those who are passionate about writing to attend its December meeting, where members will brainstorm ideas and set 2013 writing goals. The meeting will be from 10 a.m. to noon, Dec. 15, at the Tamaqua Public Library, 30 S. Railroad St. A holiday get-together will follow.

This roundtable discussion is designed to help members whittle away projects close to their heart. Whether you want to write in your journal or blog every day, get published or finish a long-ago started book, interested writers are invited to brainstorm the possibilities.
