A person wanted in Northampton County was nabbed by police in Monroe County.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said on Nov. 1 they received a tip from crime stoppers that a wanted person was hiding in the Tobyhanna area.
Police said they learned that the person, identified as Marcus James Washington, 30, had an outstanding warrant in Northampton County.
Police said they found Washington at Lot F-99, 6082 Boardwalk Drive, Tobyhanna, about 2:14 p.m.
He at first gave another name and tried to re-enter the home but was taken into custody.
He was lodged in the county prison in Snydersville on the warrant. Pocono police have also charged him with false identification to law enforcement and flight to avoid apprehension, trial or punishment.
