State police at Frackville reported on three crashes investigated by troopers on Schuylkill County roadways.

A one vehicle crash was reported about 1:20 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, along Walnut St. in MaryD, Schuylkill Township. Troopers said Mark A. Caputo, 41, of MaryD, was driving a 2009 Subaru Impreza southbound when he swerved to miss an animal on the road. The car traveled off the west berm and struck a utility pole. Caputo was not injured but the vehicle sustained heavy front end damage.

A one vehicle crash occurred about 7:45 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4, along Ferndale Road, in Blythe Townshp. Troopers said Jennifer C. Minrod, 31, of New Philadephia, was driving a 2003 Jeep Liberty eastbound when a deer entered the road in front of her. The Liberty struck the deer with the passenger side front bumper and grill. Minrod was not injured and damages were minor to the front of the vehicle.

A one vehicle crash was reported about 4:14 p.m. on Sunday along SR443 (Clamtown Road) in East Brunswick Township. Troopers said William C. Powell, 58, of Hazleton, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Equinoz eastbound when a deer entered the road in front of him. The vehicle struck the deer.

Powell and his passenger, Marie Powell, 54, same address, were not injured. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene, troopers noted.
