The Red Door is open.

At least it will be tomorrow at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Palmerton.

That's because a Red Door Dance party will be held beginning at 6 p.m. at the church, located at 502 Lafayette Avenue.

Lorene Larose, a member of the congregation, said the event is in conjunction with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the church.

"It's to let everybody know we're still there," Larose said. "This is to span all the generations."

Larose said the public is invited to attend the event.

"There will be a lot of dance music; we don't want to stand still or sit still, literally or figuratively," she said. "We're a pretty vibrant bunch of people, and we're just going to keep enjoying and celebrating our faith together."

The church celebrated its centennial anniversary with a mass last April.
