Drug sweep includes Tamaqua woman

A Tamaqua woman was one of 11 alleged drug dealers arrested Friday by the Schuylkill County District Attorney's Drug Task Force during a sweep of the northern and eastern part of Schuylkill County.

The arrests were the result of investigations conducted by the task force and local police."We will continue efforts to keep drug dealers off the street," District Attorney Karen Byrnes Noon announced Friday morning.Arrested were Megan McCabe of Tamaqua, charged with delivery of marijuana; Felix Luna, Pottsville, delivery of cocaine; Andrea Dinofa, delivery of cocaine and Alex Fogarty, delivery of heroin, both of West Mahanoy Township.Seven from Shenandoah were arrested, including Kristen McCabe, delivery of cocaine; Richard A. Bates, deliver of methamphetamine; William Rodriguez, delivery of cocaine; Matthew Konedsler, delivery of marijuana; Toni Chester, delivery of percocet; Cheryl Bloss, delivery of marijuana and Katherine Mock, delivery of marijuana.The county drug task force, along with Sheriff Joseph G. Groody and his deputies, Pennsylvania State Police Parole Department, Pennsylvania State Police Frackville State Police, Pennsylvania State Police Fugitive Task Force, U.S. Marshals, and policemen from Tamaqua, Saint Clair, Shenandoah, Kline Township and West Mahanoy City participated in the sweep.
