State police at Lehighton reported on two arrests made by troopers.

On Tuesday, May 22, about 12:10 p.m. troopers responded to Long Mountain Road, in Effort, Polk Township, Monroe County, for a report of a corruption of a minor.

Following an investigation troopers said Willard Marvin, 31, of Effort, was taken into custody for corruption of a minor, driving under the influence (DUI), and drug act violations. He was taken to the barracks and processed and then arraigned before a district judge. He was committed into the county prison in Monroe County.

The listed victim is a juvenile from Slatington.

Troopers said on Monday, May 21, about 12:35 p.m. they were contacted by a 64-year-old female from Saylorsburg that she had been harassed and threatened by Troy Scott Herman, 38, of Saylorsburg.

Troopers said as a result Herman was cited for harassment.
