State police at Lehighton are investigating several theft incidents.
Troopers said about 1,000 pounds of scrap metal was removed from D&B Services, located at 369 Fiddletown Rd., in Eldred Township, Monroe County. Troopers said the metal, valued at about $120, was lying unsecured outside the building.
The theft occurred sometime during the overnight hours of May 2-3.
Keith Richards, 38, of Quail Rd., Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, reported someone obtained his credit card information and made purchases totaling $439.93 via the Internet.
The incident occurred sometime between 6:49 a.m. and 3:38 p.m. on May 4.
Richard Walck, 68, of 1535 Lower Smith Gap Rd., Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, reported someone took the starter off his lawn tractor.
The theft occurred sometime between May 2 and 5.
Paul Schweigert, 42, of 114 Rolling Meadows Rd., Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County, reported someone removed various items from his vehicle while parked near his residence.
The incident occurred sometime between 1 p.m. Sunday, May 6, and 10:30 a.m. on Monday.
Brendan J. Kearns, 51, of 423 Blue Ridge Drive, Saylorsburg, Ross Township, reported someone took possession of two, 11-inch wooded post rails from his property.
The rails have an estimated value of $35.
The theft occurred sometime between midnight and 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8.
In a criminal mischief incident Linda Lehr, 44, of Lehighton, reported someone dented the hood of her vehicle while parked on a lot at the Palmerton Area High School, along Fireline Road, in Lower Towamensing Township. The incident was reported on May 1.
