An inmate at the state correction institution at Frackville, Ryan Township, is facing a charge of aggravated assault on a corrections officer.

State police at Frackville said Donald Murphy, 29, is facing the charge for an incident that occurred about 10:18 a.m. on April 26.Troopers said Murphy threw a carton of liquid at corrections officer Gregory Svab, as he opened the wicket to Murphy's cell door. The liquid is presumed to be urine.The charge is pending test results on the liquid, troopers said.
