Lehigh Township police in Northampton County reported the regional DUI Enforcement program will be out in force conducting sobriety checkpoints, roving patrols and Cops In Shops (targeting underage drinking) program.

The township's regional DUI enforcement program is composed of the following police departments which serve 16 municipalities within the county.In addition to Lehigh, the other departments include the townships of Moore, Bushkill, Plainfield and Upper Nazareth; the boroughs of Walnutport, Bangor, Stockertown, Nazareth, Pen Argyl, Northampton and Tatamy; and Colonial Regional.
