State police at Fogelsville reported investigating a two-vehicle crash about 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, in which one of the drivers was cited.

Troopers said the accident occurred along Hamilton Blvd., in Lower Macungie Township. Darlene L. Wise, 60, of Slatington, was stopped in a 2009 Ford Escape for a red traffic light when her vehicle was struck in the rear by a 1998 Toyota Corolla driven by Matthew J. Poorman, 21, of Stroudsburg.Poorman, Wise, and her passenger, Dolores F. Dengler, 78, of Emerald, were all not injured. The Toyota had to be towed from the scene while the Ford sustained minor damages.Troopers cited Poorman for driving too fast for conditions.
