The Carbon County Planning Commission gave the green light on two land projects in the county.
During the commission's monthly meeting on Tuesday, the board voted to recommend plan approval to Pencor Services for an office building project in Palmerton.
The plan calls for constructing a nearly 15,000-square-foot office building at 462 Delaware Ave., as well as combining two lots and creating a 45-space parking lot.
Ivan O. Meixell Jr., county planner, outlined the project before recommending the commission approve the plans.
This is the second step that Pencor has completed in the planning process for the new building.
Earlier this month, the Palmerton Planning Commission discussed the plan and granted conditional approval for a lot consolidation plan.
The proposed project plans now go to Palmerton Borough Council for approval or rejection.
The Carbon County Planning Commission also voted to recommend conditional plan approval for Shirleen H. Lutsko's proposed subdivision of the Betty E. Graver estate.
The plan calls for subdividing 62.54 acres near the intersection of Blakeslee Boulevard Drive West and Mahoning Mountain Road in Mahoning Township, into two lots.
