A fundraiser and dart tournament was hosted recently at the East End Fire Company in Tamaqua by the Notre Dame Club of Schuylkill County to raise funds for Dudefest. Dudefest was founded to benefit suicide awareness in memory of Cory McCarroll who took his own life on June 28, 2009. The event raised $500 and the winners were Craig and Jess from Trescow. The 4th Annual Dudefest will be held on August 18 at the West Penn Rod and Gun Club. For more information about Dudefest contact founder and mother Tara at (570) 527-4965.
