A Carbon County club was cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.
Italian Mutual Beneficial Society, at 16 Center St., Lansford, was cited during the period of Feb. 15 through Dec. 20, 2011, failed to maintain malt or brewed beverage dispensing system cleaning records. Also, during the same period, failed to clean malt or brewed beverage dispensing system at least once every seven days.
These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
