Student facing drug charges

A student at Pleasant Valley High School, 1671 Route 209, in Chestnuthill Township is facing a drug charge.

State police at Fern Ridge said a 17-year-old male student left the school at 1:50 p.m. Friday and went to his car in the school parking lot, where he smoked a cigarette. When he returned to the school he was questioned by his probation officer as to what he had been doing. The probation officer then searched his vehicle for possible probation violations.The teen was found to have two homemade devices for smoking marijuana. A juvenile petition was filed with the county's juvenile probation office charging the teen with possession of drug paraphernalia.
