State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following arrests made by troopers for incidents in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Jeremy Leshko, 32, of Wiconisco, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle. Troopers allege that he entered the 2001 Ford F250 truck of Richard Tallman, 55, of Tower City, while parked at 31 Schwalm Rd., in Porter Township.

Troopers said Leshko then drove the vehicle north on Schwalm Road, approached the intersection with E. Wiconisco St., and traveled through the intersection. The truck then struck a guide rail, continued over the guide rail and hit a tree. He was found in the immediate area. The incident occurred about 5 a.m. on Saturday, March 3.

Jason Fitzpatrick, 36, of Port Carbon, has been charged with indirect criminal contempt for violating a protection from abuse (PFA) order.

Troopers said the incident occurred at the residence of Gina Merlino, 34, of 502 Heritage Heights, Pottsville, Norwegian Township. Fitzpatrick violated a PFA order issued to Merlino by making contact with her. The incident occurred between 12:15 and 12:30 a.m. on Friday, March 2, troopers said.

Erich Hinchman, 29, of Minersville, was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness for an incident that occurred about 10:13 p.m. at 928 E. Main St., at a McDonald's Restaurant in North Manheim Township.

Troopers said Hinchman was inside the restaurant and caused a disturbance by using obscene language and threatening patrons. He was also highly intoxicated.
