LAKE HARMONY, Pa. (AP) – Part of a resort in northeastern Pennsylvania's Poconos is going up for sheriff's sale.

Split Rock Resort hotel and water park will remain open despite a scheduled April 13 foreclosure sale on a $21 million mortgage.

The Carbon County Sheriff's Office scheduled the foreclosure sale on the mortgage owed to TD Bank.

One parcel slated for sale is a 40-acre site, including a $19 million water park that opened in late 2008. The other parcel is about 260 acres and includes a lodge and some recreation amenities attached to the hotel.

The parcels, totaling about 300 acres, are owned by Vacation Charters Ltd. A resort spokesman said the owners are working to come up with the payment needed to stop the foreclosure sale.
