State police at Fern Ridge are investigating three theft incidents, two involving the theft of motor vehicles.

The 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee of Sharon Regina Stanley, of Slatington, was stolen from a driveway along Barry's Road, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. The vehicle was taken sometime between June 20 and 24. The Jeep is red and bears state registration plate EBC5350, with damage to the passenger's side and a missing passenger side mirror.

The 2005 GMC Canyon of Bradley N. Kane, of Jim Thorpe, was stolen while parked at Rhododendron Circle, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. The vehicle was taken sometime between June 23 and 25. The vehicle is brown and has state registration plate YXF2621, and also damage to the rear bumper.

David W. Buckman, 29, of 1618 Kickapoo Terrace, The Highlands, Effort, Chestnuthill Township, reported a diamond engagement ring was stolen from a desk drawer in the kitchen area of his residence. The ring is valued at $6,700. The theft occurred sometime between June 18-25.
