Dear Editor:

The most valuable assets of any reporter are integrity and credibility. Reporters are depended on to report the news not make the news. They build their reputations with every story that they write. They need to GET IT RIGHT or risk their reputations being destroyed.

I feel compelled to support the reporting of Mr. David Wargo of a recent Mahoning Township Board of Supervisors meeting on June 11, 2012 in reference to the resignation of a Township supervisor. The story was factual not embellished, not spiced up to sell newspapers.

I would predict that if everyone present at that meeting were polled they would agree with the accuracy of Mr. Wargo's report. Mr. David Wargo GOT IT RIGHT His integrity and credibility remain intact.

John J. Wieczorek

Supervisor,

Mahoning Township
