Volunteer firefighters from five communities worked together Tuesday afternoon to rescue a male who had fallen off the trail and down an embankment at Glen Onoko Falls in Jim Thorpe. The unidentified male reportedly sustained a knee injury. Responders were from the Jim Thorpe, Lehighton, Nesquehoning, Summit Hill and Penn Forest Fire Departments. Also at the scene was a crew from the Lehighton Ambulance Association. There were around 20 total responders on scene.
