Two area residents were among 41 who were arraigned Monday before District Attorney Karen Noon Byrnes at the Schuylkill County courthouse on criminal charges and all entered pleas of not guilty and requested trial by jury. They were:

Kimberly Ann Hill, 47, of 35 E. Vine St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Anthony Stanell, with hindering apprehension of her boyfriend wanted by authorities.

The police report states he was found hiding in a cedar chest covered by blankets and pillows. Hill was also charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Matthew Houser, with four counts of altering, forging or counterfeiting documents and license plates, one count each of operating a vehicle without an official inspection certificate, driving while her license was suspended, and of failing to carry insurance on her vehicle.

Sean K. Anderson, of 43 Heckman St., Quakake, Rush Township, charged by Pottsville Patrolman Paul R. Olson, with four counts of simple assault and one count each of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, defiant trespass on property at 449 Mauch Chunk St., owned by Schuylkill Medical Center and public drunkenness.

Barry Lee Berger, 323, Ringtown, charged by Trooper Edward Lizewski with theft of a horse owned by Michael A. Benotas, Trailer Road, and two counts of agricultural vandalism by driving a vehicle through the soybean and corn crops on the farm of Edward M. Careya, off Girard Manor Road, both in East Union Township.

Peter Andrew Howard, Girardville, charged by Trooper John Powis with aggravated and simple assault, endangering welfare of a child, and recklessly endangering another person.

Brandie Lynn Haluska, 32, Pottsville, charged by Frackville Patrolman Anthony Kankowski, with driving under the influence (DUI), driving while her license was suspended, reckless driving, involved in accident by striking wall of building housing Harper's Auto Body Shop. 150 N. Lehigh Ave., Frackville; duty to given information to authority and render aid, and public drunkenness.

Joseph James Fogarty, 43, Lost Creek, West Mahanoy Township, charged by Frackville Chief Michelle Ashman, with possession of a an instrument of crime (loaded shotgun).

Edward Michael Kaluchie, 67, Llewellyn, Branch Township, charged by Trooper Mark Baron with DUI on Llewellyn Road in Branch Township, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic, and careless driving.

Jessica R. Hoffman, 29, Ashland, charged by Trooper Alyssa Becker with theft of silver coins belonging to Russell Engle, 182 Ridge Road, Eldred Township.

Jodi Dee Lang, 51, Pottsville, charged by Trooper James Nestico with DUI on Phoenix Park Road in Branch Township, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic, failing to drive at safe speed and careless driving.

Todd Dennis Dohner, 46, Pine Grove, charged by Pine Grove Cpl. Christopher Cruz, with three counts of harassment of Natalie Zimmerman by voice messages on her answering machine.

Robert Allen Bartholomew, 34, Ashland, charged by Ashland Patrolman Mark O'Hearn, with DUI, driving while license suspended, careless driving, and failing to give notice of change of name or address.

Dustin Lee Macieunas, 23, Mahanoy City, charged by Butler Township Patrolman Anthony Galla, with DUI of drugs, careless driving, failing to drive at safe speed, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic, violating a no passing zone, and limitations on overtaking on left side of road.

Dakota Christopher Bereskie, 20, Ashland, charged by Patrolman Galla with DUI of drugs and failing to have headlamps working on his vehicle.
