All ages are welcome to attend an open house at the Carbon County Environmental Education Center, from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 17.

It will be a fun-filled event including behind-the-scenes tours, refreshments and activities for children. A fundraiser for the CCEEC will be going on during the event as well.There is no charge and preregistration is not necessary.The CCEEC is located at the west end of Mauch Chunk Lake Park, just outside Jim Thorpe, along Lentz Trail.For more information call (570) 645-8597.
