Daisy Mae Valentine, 15, daughter of Michelle Rex and David Valentine of Tamaqua, has been selected as a state finalist in the National American Miss Pageant.
The event will be held Aug. 12-13 in Harrisburg.
Daisy Mae will participate in the junior teen division.
Her hobbies include softball, swimming, camping, writing and spending time with her friends.
She enjoys providing her friends with makeovers, hairstyling tips and creating nail designs.
