State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Carbon County property.

Troopers said locks and door jams were broken on five cabins at 87 Weiler Road, in Penn Forest Township. All the cabins were entered but items were removed from only two. Removed were butter knives, telescope lens, wooden box, towels and old poker chips. Value of the items stolen was set at $100. Damage to four doors and five locks was $850.The incident occurred sometime between Jan. 20 and Saturday, April 10.
