State police at Frackville reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers.
On Friday, July 20, about 8:40 p.m. troppers stopped Cody E. Pehala, 19, of Drums, Luzerne County, along Interstate 81 in East Union Township.
He was found to be under the influence and was taken to the barracks for a breath test. The test revealed he was over the legal limit of .08 percent.
Pehala is facing DUI and motor vehicle code violations, troopers said.
About 1:15 a.m. on Sunday, July 22, troopers stopped Desiree Dunleavy, 31, of Shenandoah, along SR924, just south of Shenandoah in Mahanoy Township. She was found to be under the influence and was taken to the barracks for a breath test. The test showed her over the legal limit. Charges will be filed.
