The descendants of Weaver John Fretz and his brother, Christian, will gather Saturday, Aug. 4 at 9 a.m. at St. Matthew's Kellers Church, 3668 Ridge Road, Perkasie, Pa. to celebrate the 124th anniversary of the first Fretz Family Reunion.

The family arrived in Bucks County from Germany in the 1720s and has spread to many states in the U.S. and Ontario. Many have names such as Anders, Beardsley, Beidler, Cox, Davis, Dubois, Freed, Gehman, Gross, House, Kaufman, Kulp, Myers, Opdyke, Rittenhouse, Slotter and Waldie.

Lunch will be covered dish with meat, rolls, dessert and beverage provided.

In addition to a business meeting, Kathy Bauman will speak about "The Bauman Family apple butter business."

All are invited to join the Fretz Family to renew acquaintances and make new friends.
