Lansford Police are investigating three burglaries over the past week at the Lansford Pool. Police and pool staff were seen Saturday reviewing surveillance video and marking down items stolen. Police report that a sum of money and other items were taken from the pool's ground concession stand and office. Police state that the burglaries occurred during the late night or early hours. The burglar(s) used bolt cutters to gain access to areas. Mary Ann Krajnak, pool manager, stated, "A reward is being offered for the conviction and arrest of anyone involved." She also pointed out that improvements have been made to the surveillance system. Staff pointed out that monetary donations can be dropped off at the pool. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Lansford Police anytime at (570) 645-5844.
