ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Thousands came out Sunday to take part in the Tamaqua Bungalow's annual Splash Day. The event, which activities and games were themed around Happy Birthday, was also held to celebrate the Bungalow's 100 year anniversary. Some of the activities consisted of water balloons, hula hoop contest, biggest splash, frozen drinks and so on. The event also had free entertainment by DJ Dave Cipko, who has volunteered 23 years at the pool. John Wentz laughs with daughter Brandy, 5, and her friend Mary Bynon, 10, all from Tamaqua.
