BETHLEHEM - Fred Reinhard (Palmerton, Pa.), Tony Jaso (Bethlehem, Pa.); Tara Wartman McClimon (Douglassville, Pa.) and Heidi Wolfsberger Peoples (Scranton, Pa.) make up the class of 2012 that will be inducted into the Moravian College Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, November 9th in Johnston Hall. Also being honored at the 2012 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be Bill Marsh (Carolina Shores, N.C.), who will be presented with the Robert Martin Herbstman Award, and the 1989 men's track & field team.

The evening will consist of a reception at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m. followed by the induction ceremony.Reinhard who served as a longtime member of the Moravian College Board of Trustees, has been a major contributor and consistent supporter of the Greyhound Athletic program for years. He is a regular at Moravian intercollegiate athletic contests, and he has positively affected the athletic experience of scores of Moravian student-athletes. In 2011, Fred was elected as a Life Trustee member of the Moravian College Board of Trustees. Reinhard resides in Palmerton with his wife Rosalie.Jasso, a 1950 Moravian graduate, was a three-year standout on the football squad. Jasso played on both the offensive and defensive line as well as a receiver during his career, and he was selected Honorable Mention All-State in 1946 after his freshman season. Prior to coming to Moravian, Jaso served in the United States Navy during World War II. Jasso, who is a retired educator, lives in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with his wife Patricia.McClimon, who graduated from Moravian in 1998, was a four-year member of the women's cross country and women's track & field teams. McClimon earned All-America honors with a seventh place finish at the 1997 NCAA Division III Cross Country National Championships as a senior, and she captured the Middle Atlantic Conference title in both 1996 and 1997. She helped lead her cross country squad to four MAC titles and a third place finish at the 1995 NCAA Championship meet. On the track, McClimon was an All-American in the 3,000-meter run in 1997, and she competed in three events, the 3,000-meter, the 5,000-meter and the 10,000-meter runs at the NCAA Championships. McClimon was a seven time MAC champion in track including the 10,000-meter title for four straight years. After leading the track & field team to four straight MAC titles, McClimon was named Moravian's Outstanding Senior Female Athlete in 1998. McClimon lives in Douglassville, Pennsylvania with her husband Tyler McClimon, a 1999 Moravian graduate, and their two children - Corey and Mason.Peoples, who graduated in 2002, was also a four-year standout on both the women's cross country and women's track & field teams for the Greyhounds, and she was Moravian's Outstanding Senior Male Athlete in 2002. Peoples captured the 2001 NCAA Division III National Championship in the 1,500-meter run indoors, and she was the runner-up in the 1,500-meter run three other times in her career. Peoples was also a two-time runner-up at the NCAA Division III Cross Country National Championships, and she completed her career as a 12-time All-American. Peoples helped the Greyhounds to four Middle Atlantic Conference Cross Country championships, and she was a three-time Most Outstanding Performer at the MAC Track Championships. Peoples won 14 MAC individual titles, and she was part of several more championships as a member of relay squads. Peoples continued to run after graduation, and she is a two-time United States Women's Marathon Olympic Trials qualifier and a two-time winner of the Steamtown Marathon including the course record. Peoples is a teacher at Riverside High School, and she resides in Scranton, Pennsylvania with her husband William Peoples and their two children - Liam and Caroline.Marsh, a 1956 graduate, was a four-year letterwinner on the Moravian football team. Marsh was a quarterback for the Greyhounds and served as a team captain as a senior. When he began his teaching career, Marsh was instrumental in recruiting students to attend Moravian. Marsh is a retired coach and educator in New Jersey. He currently resides in Carolina Shores, North Carolina with his wife Helen.The 1989 men's track & field team won both the Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor and Outdoor Championships while finishing ninth at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships. The squad, coached by the late Doug Pollard, included four current Moravian Hall of Famers - Jeffrey Cullingford '90, Charlie Hoch '91, Rick Krouse '89 and Dan Reichenbach '91.
