Summit Hill borough police are investigating an incident last night in which a borough resident was assaulted in the head with a baseball bat.

Chief of Police Joseph Fittos said the incident was reported at 9:04 p.m. on East Ludlow Street.

The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

Fittos said no arrests were made and the incident is still under investigation.

The name of the victim is being withheld because the investigation is still being conducted.

After the incident last night, police did issue a notice that they were looking for two individuals in connection with the incident.

Fittos said no suspects were apprehended or questioned last night.
