Sweet tooth need satisfying ? Well, in Jim Thorpe, there is a great place to do just that and much more.

A place where not only will you find sweet treats like cakes, pies, donuts, sticky buns, cookies, cream puffs, turnovers, eclairs, nut rolls, etc. but also a wide variety of breads, rolls, and buns.In addition, it is also a place where tomato pies (pizza), a variety of stromboli, and Soccacia Bread, an Italian style herbed bread topped with different herbs and vegetables are also available.The place for getting all of these delectable favorites is "3 Kids Bake House" which first opened its doors in November of 2010 at its location at 529 North St. (Route 903) on the East side of Jim Thorpe.The bakery, which is located in a convenient store-front location with free parking, is owned and operated by Frank and Cris Bradley.Formally from Atlantic City, New Jersey, Pastry Chef Frank helped open the bakery at Trump Plaza and Casino and then went on to become a bake-and-production crew manager for Aversa's Bakery in Turnersville, New Jersey.After attending the Restaurant School and majoring in Culinary Arts, he became a junior member of the American Culinary Federation Inc..Later, as pastry chef for Masahara Morimoto, the Food Network star of both Iron Chef and Iron Chef America, Frank produced outstanding desserts.He was featured on the Food Network's Television Special covering the making of Morimoto Restaurants which gave viewers a chance to catch a glimpse of him in action.One of the desires of Frank and Cris is to revive the flavors of the old Mauch Chunk Bakery which was formerly located in Jim Thorpe's historic district.Frank has begun that process by creating his own versions of the former bakery's Wedding Bells, Snowshoe Buns, and Easter Egg Cakes.They also offer tasty donuts, with both jelly and creme filled available, delicious Danish, muffins, brownies, and cookies.As well as a variety of breads made from scratch, four different types of Biscotti are also freshly made on the premises.They have also worked with St. Joseph Church just across the street to offer donuts for Fashnacht Day, Irish Soda Bread for St. Patrick's Day, and Paska Bread for Easter.Menu items change with the seasons and customer request and gluten-free and sugar-free items are available as well.Custom baked foods for your home parties and weddings are also offered and future plans include catering for special events.3 Kids Bake House's business hours are : Monday and Tuesday - closed; Wednesday,Thursday, Friday, and Saturday - 5:30
