Chelsea Garvin weds Brandon Wagner

Chelsea Elizabeth Garvin, daughter of Jeffrey and Jane Garvin of Weatherly, and Brandon Holt Wagner, son of Douglas and Roslyn Wagner of Lehighton, were united in marriage on Dec. 16, 2011 at Blue Mountain Community Church in Palmerton. The Rev. Raymond Wagner, Loganton, Pa., and Pastor Jordan Eyster, Blandon, Pa., officiated the double ring ceremony.

Musicians for the ceremony included Kristi Birchak on piano, Chris Burkholder on guitar, Brendan Burke on upright bass and Peter Hershey on violin. Vocalists were Yvonne Stoudt, Jennifer Eckhart and Alicia Klotz, all of Lehighton, and Cassie McSparin of Jim Thorpe.Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose her cousin, Nicole Hinkle of Weatherly, to be her maid of honor. Rebekah Leininger of Walnutport, cousin of the bridegroom, was a bridesmaid.Jonathon Wagner of Lehighton, the bridegroom's brother, was the best man. Darrin Wagner of Lehighton, brother of the bridegroom, was the groomsman. Ushers were the bride's brothers Andrew and Christian Garvin, both of Weatherly.Aidan Shultz of Hazleton, the bride's godson, was the ring bearer.A reception was held at the West End Fire Company in Brodheadsville.The new Mrs. Wagner is a 2007 graduate of Weatherly Area High School and a 2011 graduate of Kutztown University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in special education and elementary education.Mr. Wagner is a 2007 graduate of Lehighton Area High School; a 2009 graduate of Teen Mania's Honor Academy in Lindale, Texas; and a 2011 graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College. He is employed at the Amazon.com warehouse in Fogelsville.The newlyweds currently reside in Tamaqua.
