The state department of Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center, is sponsoring a "winter birding, tracking and plant ID walk" on Saturday, Jan. 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The walk will be along the Lehigh River in search of winter birds, plants and animal tracks. Participants should dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes and bring binoculars, lunch and beverages.To register contact Bill Sweeney at
