Domestic incidents

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on to domestic incidents investigated by officers.

On May 24 about 12:33 a.m. officers were dispatched to 2456 Winding Way, Tobyhanna, in Coolbaugh Township, for a domestic incident involving a knife. On scene officers came in contact with Lonnie Turner Sr., 55, Lonnie Turner Jr., 25, and Mary Tuner, 62, all of that address.Police learned that Turner Sr. tried to assault Turner Jr. with a knife. Turner Sr. did assault Turner Jr. with a baseball bat, police allege.Turner Sr. was charged with aggravated and simple assault, terroristic threats, and reckless endangerment.The second incident occurred on June 1 about 12:12 a.m. at 114 Nakora Drive in Blakeslee. Police were dispatched to that address in Tobyhanna Township for a domestic incident. On scene police made contact with Saadia Benjamin, 59, of that address. She said that her husband, Javier Rodriguez, 57, threw a glass bottle at her, causing an injury.Rodriguez was placed under arrest for simple assault and harassment. He was placed in the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment.
