Nine of 15 persons who entered guilty pleas were sentenced to prison terms by Judge Charles M. Miller in Schuylkill County court this week.

Clarissa Nicole Ingram, 23, Pottsville, was sentenced to serve 11 1/2 to 23 months in the county prison on charges of delivery of a controlled substance and failing to furnish a drug free screen test.

She also must pay $100 to the Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA), $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab, and $50 to Pottsville Police Department Drug Task Force.

Timothy David McKerns, 31, Pottsville, on a charge of failure to furnish drug free sample to probation officer was placed on probation 12 months which begins at the expiration of a 12 months probation he is now serving for possession of drug paraphernalia. He also must pay $50 to CJEA. McKerns was cited by Pottsville Patrolman John H. Mohl.

Christ John Natale, 37, Minersville, on charges of delivery of a controlled substance was sentenced to serve 12 to 24 months in a state correctional facilty, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab, and $140 to Minersville Police.

Frederick Francis Rabbits III, 29, Port Carbon, on four charges of theft from motor vehicles parked on Coal and Valley streets in Shenandoah and Terry Reiley Way in Pottsville and one count of possession of a controlled subtance, was sentenced to serve one to 18 months in the county prison, pay $100 to SAE fund, $100 to CJEA, and make restitution of $50 to Michael Zoeller, $3 to Susan Callaghan, and $14 to April Shirey.

Kemper Valentine Ritchie, 43, no address, on a charge of defiant trespass on property at 275 Cold Run Road, East Brunswick Township, was sentenced to serve three to 12 months in the county prison with credit for serving 156 days, and pay $50 to CJEA. He was cited by Trooper Mario A. Pompei.

Rashad Santiago, also known as Rashad Waring, 23, Hazleton, on a charge of criminal conspiracy to deliver heroin in McAdoo, was sentenced to serve 18 to 36 months in a state correctional facility, pay a fine of $100, pay $100 to SAE fund and $50 to CJEA. On a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia must serve an additional 12 months on probation. He was cited by Patrolman Robert Minnick.

Peter Schultz, 46, Hegins pleaded guilty to four counts of delivery of a controlled substance, six counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, seven counts of possession of a controlled substance and five counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

His sentence was deferred as he was transported by the sheriff's department to the Department of Correction at Camp Hill to be committed for evaluation to determine if his eligibility for the State Intermediate Punishment Program. The charges were filed by Hegins Patrolman Troy Maurer.

Jimmy Miguel Smith, 33, Pottsville, on charges of defiant trespass, theft by deception, giving false information to police and two counts of theft of leased property was sentenced to serve18 to 36 months in a state correctional facility, pay $150 to CJEA and make restitution of $100 to Cash and Trading Store. He was cited by Trooper Michael V. Ryan and Pottsville police.

Matthew Robert Stephany, 21, Pottsville, on charges of burglary at 257 Peacock Street, Pottsville, criminal conspiracy, possession of a instrument of crime. delivery of a controlled substance, criminal use of a cell phone, possession of a controlled substance and theft, was sentenced to serve 12 to 46 months in the county prison with credit for serving 135 days. He also must pay a $100 fine, pay $200 to SAE fund, $150 to CJEA, $365 to Bethlehem Regional Lab, perform 10 hours community service. He was cited by Pottsville police.

Steven Anthony Valkosak, 45, Orwigsburg, on a charge of disorderly conduct was given credit for serving 74 days in the county prison and was placed on probation 12 months, and pay $50 to CJEA.

On a harassment charge was fined $50 and costs. He also is to have no contact with the victim, Lisa Keller, Schuylkill Haven. He was cited by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman Gregory S. Meisner.

Nicolas David Webber, Pottsville, on a charge of simple assault was given credit for serving 141 days in the county prison and placed on parole for 12 months, pay $50 to CJEA, and must enroll and complete an Anger Management Program. He was cited by Pottsville Patrolman Brian J. Reno.

Bain Alan Wedd, 33, Port Carbon, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was placed on probation 12 months, pay $100 to SAE fund, and $50 to CJEA. He was cited by Trooper Anthony C. Garipoli when stopped on SR61 in North Manheim Township.

Calib Bryant Cook, 22, Pottsville, on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of criminal use of a cell phone was sentenced to serve six to 23 months in the county prison, fined $200, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, $226 to Bethlehem Regional Lab and $65 to Pottsvile Police Drug Task Force. He received credit for 121 days in prison.

Charles Frantz, 19, Mount Carmel, on two counts of robbery of Bracy's Pharmacy, Ashland, was sentenced to serve 18 to 36 months in a state correctional facility and on a charge of possession of an instrument of crime must serve an additional 24 months on probation, pay $50 to CJEA, and make restitution of $172 to the pharmacy.

Each defendant sentenced must also pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
