Steckel and Stopp Senior Partner Charles W. Stopp, Esquire, recently was a guest lecturer at the Annual Meeting of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Land Surveyors' Continuing Education Convention in Hershey.
Stopp discussed easements during the annual convention, which was held Jan. 22-25. The purpose of the educational component of the convention was to provide opportunities for professional land surveyors to meet continuing education standards and criteria.
Stopp previously has lectured at the convention, most recently in 2010. In this year's session, Stopp addressed easement types, creation and extinguishment, and legal aspects including court challenges through case-law examples.
The convention was attended by hundreds of professional land surveyors, both from within the state and those who practice from as far away as Florida.
