Dear editor:

Maybe I'm mistaken but don't the Arab League have around 20 or so countries in membership? If so, why don't they take care of their problems? We shouldn't have to be the policemen for the world. I think they, not us, should take care of their problem in Syria. I think we could back up those who do the right thing. But stay out of their problems unless asked to step in.

It seems like we give weapons and training to countries and sooner or later, they go back to their old ways and turn all that on us.

I don't think we should waste our future generations (young people) for people who (most of them) burn our flag and disrespect us after we help them with money, training, weapons and a lot of our young people's lives.

I remain,

Robert (Ski) Siesputowski
